Terms of Service

Mercureon provides software for approved researchers to publish profiles, offer monthly memberships, launch reviewed research campaigns, post updates, and receive supporter comments.

Mercureon reviews researcher applications and campaign submissions for platform policy fit, but Mercureon does not scientifically validate, peer review, guarantee, or endorse every research claim, method, or outcome.

Researchers remain responsible for the accuracy of their public statements, the feasibility of their plans, their legal and ethical obligations, and any rewards or update commitments they make.

Anyone may create a supporter account if they can lawfully use the service and provide accurate account information.

Researcher capabilities require Mercureon approval. Approval may be denied, limited, suspended, or revoked if a researcher or campaign creates trust, safety, legal, payment, or policy concerns.

Users may not share accounts, impersonate another person or organization, interfere with platform operations, bypass access controls, or use Mercureon for unlawful activity.

Mercureon uses Stripe Checkout for membership subscriptions and campaign pledges. Stripe may collect and process payment information under its own terms and privacy notices.

Campaigns use flexible funding in the MVP. A campaign pledge is charged when checkout is completed; it is not held until the campaign reaches its goal and is not automatically refunded if the goal is not reached.

Membership subscriptions renew monthly until canceled through supported billing controls. Access to gated content depends on internal subscription and pledge records updated from payment provider events.

Researchers and supporters are responsible for the content they post. Mercureon may remove, hide, limit, or preserve content when needed for safety, policy enforcement, support, legal compliance, or platform operations.

Comments are intended for research-related discussion. Harassment, spam, misleading medical or scientific claims, unlawful content, and attempts to evade moderation may lead to account or content restrictions.

Independent research involves uncertainty. Funding a campaign, joining a membership, or following a researcher does not guarantee a discovery, publication, product, treatment, reward, timeline, or other outcome.

Mercureon may change these terms as the product matures. Material updates should be reflected on this page before broader public launch.
