Payout Policy

Researchers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding before Mercureon can route funds to them. Checkout creation may be blocked until the connected account can accept charges and receive payouts.

Stripe may require additional identity, business, tax, or bank account information before enabling or continuing payouts.

Payout timing depends on Stripe, connected account status, payment method settlement, disputes, refunds, compliance review, and any platform holds or pauses.

Mercureon should not promise immediate payout availability. Internal ledger and payment records should be used for support visibility, while Stripe remains authoritative for processor-side balance movement.

Mercureon may pause checkout creation, campaign activity, or payout support when a researcher is suspended, a campaign is paused, a payment is disputed, a refund is pending, a connected account is restricted, or policy review is needed.

Researchers are responsible for taxes, reporting, institutional requirements, and any restrictions that apply to accepting funds for their work.

Any platform fees, payment processing fees, or payout adjustments should be disclosed clearly before launch. The current implementation tracks ledger records needed for later support and reporting.
